Umm Salamah narrated that when the Prophet (ﷺ) performed the Subh (morning prayer), while he said the Salam, he would say:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allahumma-ikfini bi halalika ‘an haramika, wa aghnini bi fadlika ‘amman siwak
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful. Keep me away from what You have made unlawful. And with Your favor, make me free of need from anyone other than You.
اے اللہ! مجھے اپنے حلال کے ذریعے حرام سے بے نیاز کر دے، اور اپنے فضل سے اپنے سوا ہر ایک سے غنی کر دے۔

Dua E Rizq from the Quran

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-nar
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter. And protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں دنیا میں بھلائی دے اور آخرت میں بھلائی دے، اور ہمیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا۔

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

My Lord, indeed I am in need of whatever good You send down to me.
اے میرے رب! جو بھی بھلائی تو میری طرف اتارے، میں اس کا محتاج ہوں۔

Ways to Increase Barakah in Rizq

  • Maintain Taqwa: Allah promises rizq to those who fear Him:
    “And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect.” (Surah At-Talaq: 2-3)
  • Give in Charity: Sadaqah (charity) increases wealth, as per the hadith:
    “Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Sahih Muslim)
  • Pray Salah on Time: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasized the importance of regular prayer in seeking blessings.
  • Work Diligently and Honestly: Engage in halal (permissible) and ethical work, ensuring sincerity and integrity in your efforts. Avoid shortcuts or dishonesty, as Allah blesses hard work with good intentions and pure means.
  • Show Gratitude (Shukr): Always thank Allah for His blessings. Gratitude opens doors to increased provisions:
    “If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor].” (Surah Ibrahim: 7)
